Living Together - Located in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui, one of the busiest district of Kowloon, the apartment deserved a fresher look to honour its high ceilings and convenient location.
The unused guest room was demolished to open the kitchen to the living space, creating a large living-dining-kitchen area.
False ceilings were removed, exposing the beams and maximizing ceiling heights.
The concept was to create an equatorial jungle nested in the heavily built neighbourhood, a hidden gem where to take a break and clear the mind. The owner's niece being fond of nature and outdoors, she wanted the flat to be bright with splashes of colours, yet neat and minimalistic.
House of Butler, lead by designer Amy Butler, incorporated its signature clean, full-height white cabinets in the living room while crafting a cozy, warm space with walnut flooring and kitchen island bar.
